"Tequila Talkin'" is the debut single of the country music band Lonestar. It was released in August 1995 as the lead-off single from their self-titled debut album. It peaked at number 8 in the United States, and number 11 in Canada.

The song's narrator was not still in love with his former lover when he said that he was, but he was just drunk on tequila when he had said so.
Larry Flick, of Billboard magazine reviewed the song favorably, calling it a "great country lyric about longing and regret magnified through a bottle." He goes on to say that "nice vocal and solid production make this accessible to radio."[2]
